How to sell on offcamp
👉 To start selling on offcamp.
- Go to Product Dashboard
- Click on add New product
First, Add a cover image
👉The cover image is the first thing people will see when they open your product. It’s a great way to add visual personality to your product.
Give your product a name
👉One of the first steps in creating your product will be choosing its name. We recommend being descriptive so customers can get a sense of what they’re buying. Stay away from overly generic or simplistic names.
Here are some examples:

Set a price
👉Here you will set the price for your product. Here you will set the price for your product. You already know the value of what you want to sell your product. A product shouldn’t be priced at more than N500,000.
Discounted Price
👉This is an optional price setting. If you want to give discounted price from the main price. You enter the main price on Discounted price space and then the discount price on the price space
Tag
👉Tags help buyers to discover your product easily on our Marketplace. You can enter a tag or choose from already existing tags.
Call to Action
👉A call to action helps encourage your customers to take the desired action. such as “Pay Now” if you are selling a product, “Hire Now” if you are offering services, “Download Now”, “Subscribe Now”
Choose Category
👉Here you can select one of the many product types you want to sell on offcamp.
Affiliate Marketing Material link
👉 To help offcamp affiliate Marketers promote your product effectively. You have to provide them with marketing information on how you want them to market your product. This includes Videos, photos, content or a private WhatsApp group.
Activate Affiliate Commission(Referral Rate Type)
👉To allow offcamp affiliates to promote your product. First, you have to set the Percentage or Flat rate you are given out as a commission.
Referral Value
👉 You can choose either a Flat or a percentage rate. Your commission shouldn’t be more than 100% and not less than 10%.
What If I don’t want affiliates to promote my product?
👉Just set the “Referral Rate Type” to the “Default affiliate system setting“.
Describe your product
👉 Adding a description gives your customers more insight into what you’re selling and why. The best descriptions provide specific details about the product and why you’ve decided to dedicate your time to make it.
The top-horizontal bar on the text editor allows you to style your description and more.
You can use this menu to:
- Make your description bold, italicized, or underlined
- Create a hyperlink
- Create headings
- Change the font
- Create bullet points
- Add videos (via a link from Youtube, Vimeo, or Instagram).

How to add Image to your Description
👉 There are 2 ways you can add images.
- You can copy an image and then paste any part of the description you want the mage to show.
- Move to the next page by clicking on Save Product, Go to the product page and click on Add image to Import image from the file.
Supported image types
👉 Offcamp supports all Image types, but the image should be 600*600 pixels.
Remember, you can add as many images as you want to a single product.
Order Successful Note
👉 This is where you can drop a download link or course link or description on how they can get the product they ordered.
This lets your customers to what is next for their successful purchase.
For example, if you specify: https://www.example.com/ — all of your customers will click this upon successful purchase, a short note should be added to make it easier to understand.
Some vendors might prefer to drop WhatsApp numbers. Where every customer can chat with them directly to get the product they paid for.
For Zoom webinar, eBook etc. you can drop a link where they can download or join the webinar and contact info if they face any challenges.
This feature also serves as a “thank you” page for your customers
Custom delivery
👉 Offcamp doesn’t support customer delivery, which means once your customer orders your product on offcamp, you handle the delivery of your products.
How to delete a product
👉 To delete one of your products, go to your Product Dashboard, hover your mouse over the product you want to delete, and then click the Delete button to delete.
